Vivo NEX 3 5G listed with Snapdragon 865 chipset
The Vivo Nex 3 5G was launched in China in September and it has been rumoured for some time that the company is working on an upgraded model of this variant. The phone was spotted on the TENAA certification site last month and now the same model number has also been seen on Geekbench. This phone is being considered as an upgraded variant of Vivo NEX 3 5G phone. The listing of the phone has revealed that it will work on the Snapdragon 865 chipset. Let us know that the company launched Vivo NEX 3 with Snapdragon 855+ chipset.
This upgraded variant of the upcoming Vivo Nex 3 5G has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number V1950A. This is the same model number previously seen on TENNA. The Geekbench listing shows that the phone will run on Android 10 and will come with 8 GB RAM. This smartphone has been spotted with a chipset called “Kona”, which largely claims the name of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. The base frequency of this octa-core processor is 1.80 GHz.
From the TENAA listing of the same model number, it was revealed that the design of this variant will be similar to the standard model. It is also believed that the phone will only come with a more powerful processor and apart from this, there will be no change in the previous version. In the case of other specifications, this phone will be similar to the standard variant of Vivo NEX 3.
Both leaks also show that by upgrading the Vivo Nex 3 5G model with just the processor, the company wants to relaunch it in the markets soon. Vivo did the same with its iQoo range, where iQoo Neo was introduced last year with the Snapdragon 845 chipset and then later with the Snapdragon 855 chipset under the name Vivo iQoo Neo 855.
