Realme latest flagship smartphone X50 Pro 5G is going to be launched in India on 24 February. It will be the first smartphone in India to support 5G connectivity, which can cost around Rs 50,000. A company official told PTI that the Realme 5G handset will be equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset and will be available for around Rs 50,000.
A leading mobile phone comparison website estimates that the 5G variant of the smartphone that comes with a lightweight chipset may be available for Rs 25,790 per unit price. The official said that the company wants people in India to get 5G phones at a lower price so that people who can use the handset comfortably in many developed countries (where 5G is available).
The Realme X50 Pro 5G handset was to be launched at MWC Barcelona 2020, the world’s largest mobile trade show, but after the event’s cancellation, Realme will now launch this phone via a live event in Spain and India simultaneously. This phone will be launched under the name of iQoo 3.
